We are now seeking a Solution Architect with a strong foundation in Enterprise Strategy and Cloud Platforms to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients, shape strategic roadmaps, and contribute to national-level digital transformation programs.
- Solution Architecture & Delivery
- Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures aligned with enterprise strategy and business goals.
- Lead cloud architecture efforts across Microsoft Azure and/or AWS platforms including Salesforce and Databricks (Delivered as first party service), ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
- Closely work with our CTO and Practice Lead to enhance our methodology to provide continuous value to our clients.
- Enterprise Strategy Development
- Develop IT strategies, target state architectures, and transition roadmaps that enable measurable business outcomes.
- Apply S4G’s proprietary methodologies to ensure alignment across business, data, applications, and technology domains.
- Be the connection tissue between Business Strategy and Technology Strategy by understanding the alignment of technology architecture with business architecture.
- Client Engagement & Leadership
- Engage directly with senior stakeholders and executives to gather requirements, define solution approaches, and build trusted advisory relationships.
- Provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams, guiding delivery squads, architects, and developers.
- Governance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all proposed solutions adhere to enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and design best practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews and support internal governance frameworks.
- Innovation & Methodology
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of S4G’s Strategy and Architecture tools and approaches.
- Stay informed of emerging technologies and trends in cloud, integration, security, and customer experience domains.
- Essential:
- Extensive hands-on experience in at least one of: Cloud Architecture, Data Architecture, Integration Architecture, or Customer Experience Architecture.
- Understanding of enterprise IT strategies and transformation roadmaps.
- Deep expertise with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) and associated services.
- Experience working across various industries including government, mid-sized enterprises, and large corporates.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adaptive mindset, capable of evaluating and applying alternative perspectives and solution approaches.
- Understanding of business architecture foundational elements and their alignment with end-to-end value chains.
- Desirable:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Expertise in at least one architectural domain with working knowledge of adjacent layers such as Infrastructure, DevOps, Integration, Security, and Data.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Salesforce credentials.
- Hands on experience of being a Software Developer or Infrastructure/Network Engineer during the early stages of your career.
