S4G and Exposé teamed up with Databricks and Microsoft to host a session with a range of IT leaders to discuss how organisations are adopting Azure Databricks as their modern data and analytics platforms.

Our CTO Harsh Mishra shared his experiences in architecting Australian Rail Track Corporations (ARTC) modern data platform. Leveraging capabilities from Microsoft and Databricks, ARTC is using real time data and insights to more effectively manage their physical rail network assets – improving the resilience, availability and efficiency of their services to deliver goods in a safe and efficient manner.

We also heard from Expose’s Etienne Oosthuysen in how they have helped the Department for Education in the enablement of advanced analytics, machine learning and cloud technologies to improve learning and development outcomes for young South Australians.
